As a member of the TERC-based research team, I conduct basic and applied research into K-8 student and teacher understandings of heat, temperature and physical theories such as particulate theory of matter. I also manage the filming, editing, and analysis of K-8 teaching videos of 35-45 teacher participants. I coordinate research efforts with scientists from research agenc and hire/manage graduate students and consultants.
